2007 WEEL Complete Set

Each Workplace Environmental Exposure Level represents the workplace exposure levels to which it is believed nearly all individuals could be exposed repeatedly without experiencing adverse health effects. Information used to establish each guideline is documented in an easy-to-read brochure that identifies the agent by chemical name, synonyms, Chemical Abstracts Service number, molecular formula, and structural formula. Also, information is provided on the agent''s chemical and physical properties, uses and volume, toxicology data, and human use and experience. The rationale used as the basis for establishing the recommended WEEL, the actual WEEL recommended, and a list of references cited in the brochure round out the information presented. All WEELs are expressed as either time-weighted average (TWA) concentrations or ceiling values; however, different time periods are specified depending on the properties of the agent.
