Course Description: Recorded at AIHce EXP 2022 This roundtable will feature a discussion of challenges in safely returning to the workplace in a post-pandemic world. A variety of issues will be discussed, such as: 1) mental health issues among essential workers; 2) methodologies to assess and support mental health in the workplace; 3) Post-pandemic challenges for different demographic groups (i.e., women and migrant workers); 4) what OH professionals can do to help alleviate these issues; 5) Older workers their risks and assets to a business; and 6) how to retain institutionalized knowledge workers possess and facilitate knowledge transfer between workers. The panelists will discuss these challenges and opportunities for supporting workers reintegration to the post-pandemic work world. Learning Outcomes At the end of this lecture, attendees will: • Recognize the issues and challenges women and minorities face in the workplace. • Strengthen programs to incorporate considerations in occupational health equity. • Communicate these issues across an organization to improve OH programs.
