In 2020, AIHA in conjunction with the Center for Safety and Health Sustainability produced a Best Practice Guide for Leading Health Metrics in Occupational Health and Safety Programs - Guidance Document. This presentation will provide in-depth details regarding how to use that document to enhance the protection of employees and communities; followed by a discussion on the use of metrics.

Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to:
  • Recognize the value and limitations of predictive metrics.
  • Develop a familiarity with the guidance document.
  • Integrate the information into new or existing programs.
