How OEHS Professionals Can Influence the Changing Workforce of the Future Workplace (AIHce EXP 2021 OnDemand)
Course Description:
Recorded at AIHce EXP 2021

The domain of work is changing, making an IH wear more hats than before. Here are some examples: a) workers are interacting with technology (artificial intelligence, automation, robotics); b) diverse workforces that are multigenerational, multicultural; c) aging workforce; d) disability friendly accommodations; e) training needed in multiple languages; and f) gig-economics. Presenters will: 1) share case-studies exemplifying H&S challenges associated with the changing workforce and work domain; and 2) discuss the skills IHs need nowadays to address these issues. IHs need to recognize these unique OEHS issues and communicate across multiple organizations.

Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to:
  • Identify mega-trends that are impacting workplaces.
  • Recognize skills needed as IHs to address these workplace issues.
  • Suggest strategies to improve the protection of workers' health.
