ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is the international standard by which testing laboratories are accredited by AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs and it includes several requirements for laboratories to conduct risk-based thinking. The first speaker in this session will explore concepts of risk-based thinking that can be used to identify, prioritize and mitigate risks in a testing laboratory as well as how laboratories can identify opportunities for improvement.
