Recorded in June 2020, the goal of this course is to share what works in hearing loss prevention to meet compliance requirements and, ultimately, truly prevent work-related hearing losses. Learners taking this course will learn from CAOHC experts in all areas of occupational hearing conservation. This course will discuss the: a) tools to create, manage, and improve your occupational hearing conservation program; b) the roles and responsibilities in an occupational HC program; c) current standard of care that exists; d) continuous improvement ideas; and e) best practices to date.

The Counsel for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) is comprised of: 1) American Academy of Audiology; 2) American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery; 3) American Association of Occupational Health Nurses; 4) American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine; 5) American Industrial Hygiene Association; 6) American Society of Safety Engineers; 7) American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; 8) Institute of Noise Control Engineering; and 9) Military Audiology Association.
