The goal of this session is to highlight the work of six global grassroots organizations and their impact on mitigating IH/OH risk in regions/countries not traditionally supported by a robust governmental, industry, or community infrastructure. The organizations will provide a brief overview of their mission and challenges and then focus on specific case examples and their ability to impact employee and community health.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to:
• Discuss the EHS challenges facing underdeveloped regions of the world.
• Address the impact of global organizations (DWOI, WHWB. and OHTA) in mitigating IH/OH risk.
• Leverage resources to bring training and education to regional IH/OH change agents.
