This course will review applications of sampling techniques that work for identifying post fire hazards for both residential home fires and urban wildfires. Over 25 years of research and case studies of current urban wildfires will be shared with course participants. This course will compare and contrast the use of traditional industrial hygiene sampling and pumps to real-time detection systems equipment, including how something as simple as a particle counter can be the best tool used in certain situations. ***PLEASE NOTE: This is a 2-day course, and you must attend both days to receive credit for attendance. For legal reasons, a recording of this course will not be offered after the live-streamed PDC.***
