For years, safety professionals have been conducting risk assessments to identify areas/activities of greatest risk to workers, prioritize action planning, and implement strategies for mitigation and continuous improvement. The Campbell Institute proposes that this same risk-based approach be applied to the area of worker health and well-being. This presentation will provide context and examples of this systems approach through a new research project on workplace fatigue conducted by the National Safety Council in collaboration with Campbell Institute members.
Presenters: Joy Inouye, John Dony, Campbell Institute - National Safety Council.
