Communicating hazards effectively can often be difficult. This course is an overview of tools implemented to aid the communication of many hazards such as, the presence of lead based paint, mold, asbestos containing materials, structural integrity issues, and other general hazards in a former hospital slated for abatement and redevelopment. Presenters will discuss the use of digital forms to document hazards and a color coded web map to clearly communicate the hazards and safe work practices needed in each space.
Presenters: Jacquelyn McMaster, Emily Curtis, Maul Foster & Alongi.
