2019 Virtual PDC: How Clean is Clean? Evaluating Indoor Surface Contamination
Thursday, May 23, 2019
1:00 PM CT - 5:00 PM CT
Earn 3.5 Contact Hours

EH&S professionals are frequently asked to measure indoor surface contamination in order to evaluate worker exposure, verify controls, or determine whether a structure is clean after use of hazardous materials. There is little regulatory guidance to determine how clean is clean. OSHA regulations require areas to be as free as practicable of removable contamination. This presentation will discuss several commonly used approaches for evaluating indoor contamination, evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, and provide EH&S professionals with the tools to select a method appropriate for their project or situation.
This PDC will be live streamed from AIHce in Minneapolis, MN
