2019 Virtual PDC: Emergency Responder Health Monitoring and Surveillance

There are still significant gaps and deficiencies in health monitoring and surveillance for emergency response workers. This session will provide participants with a framework to prevent illness and injuries in emergency response and recovery workers before, during, and after a response. This PDC will discuss how the ERHMS™ framework has been used during small and large responses, and introduce the ERHMS Info Manager™ software. Group activities and practice exercises will be included in the PDC.
