Evaluating Effectiveness of a Contractor Management Program: A Case Study Webinar Recording
Earn 1 Contact Hour

Many organizations are turning to contractors to help with everyday labor and special projects. But managing these contracts and contractors has unique challenges. This webinar will explore how a large oil and gas company has revamped their management system to more effectively track contractor safety and cumulative exposures.

Case Study: This oil and gas operation utilized a management system to assist with contractor management, but based on some user interviews, deficiencies and dysfunctions were discovered. These dysfunctions were driven both by system design and by choices of client contractor managers. Examples include audit requirements that could not be met and were ignored, the rehire of contractors with poor safety records, and a burdensome system upkeep. Learn how this organization analyzed the problems, identified the corrective actions, and ultimately improved their process and safety outcomes.
